Description

A bold, tangy, and spicy homemade čili habanero sauce you can drizzle on everything—from eggs to grilled meats.


Ingredients

  • 10 čili habanero peppers
  • 1 large carrot, peeled and chopped
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • ½ cup white vinegar
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tbsp honey (optional)
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

  • Wear gloves and remove stems (seeds optional for less heat).
  • Simmer carrot, onion, garlic, vinegar, and water for 10–12 minutes.
  • Add habaneros, cook 5 more minutes.
  • Cool slightly, then blend with lime and honey.
  • Adjust seasoning as needed and bottle.

Notes

  • Wear gloves when handling čili habanero.
  • Refrigerate in glass jars for up to 3 weeks.
