Ingredients

Scale

4 pieces Chicken (bone-in or boneless)

46 large Potatoes (russet or Yukon Gold, peeled or with skins)

4 tbsp Butter (for flavor and creaminess)

1 cup Heavy cream or milk (adjust to preference)

2 cloves Garlic (optional, for mashed potatoes)

2 tbsp Olive oil or butter (for cooking chicken)

2 tsp Fresh herbs (rosemary or thyme, for seasoning)

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.

2. Season the chicken with salt, pepper, garlic, and herbs.

3. Roast or fry the chicken until it reaches 165°F internal temperature (about 25–30 minutes).

4. Peel and chop potatoes into chunks. Boil in salted water until fork-tender (15–20 minutes). Drain and return to pot.

5. Mash potatoes with butter and cream. Season to taste.

6. Plate chicken alongside mashed potatoes. Drizzle with gravy or sauce if desired, and serve.

Notes

Leave skins on potatoes for extra texture and nutrition.

Use fresh rosemary or thyme for deeper flavor.

Pair with green beans or roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
